Research

FRC has always put on equal emphasis on teaching and scientific research. Over the years, full-time research fellows of FRC have published more than 50 textbooks, 10 of which are appointed textbooks in the “tenth five-year-plan” “eleventh five-year-plan”. “Finance” by Professor Huang Da and “Public Finance” by Professor Chen Gong have served as the popular textbooks for undergraduate majors in economics and management in institutions of higher learning, and also won the first prize of National Outstanding Textbooks. International Finance, Public Finance, International Taxation and Management of Commercial Banks lectured respectively by Professor Chen Yulu, Professor Guo Qingwang, Professor Zhu Qing and Professor Zhuang Yumin were awarded the National Best Courses, making great contributions to the development of talent training concerning economics and management.

FRC not only has abundant teaching achievements, but also endeavours to become the number one academic research center in the field of finance. In recent years, fulltime research fellows of FRC have published more than 360 papers in core journals both domestically and internationally such as Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Banking and Finance, Journal of Money, Credit and Banking, Social Sciences in China, Economic Research etc, and more than 60 academic books. They have undertaken over 40 academic research projects funded by the provincial and ministerial level or above, among which 3 are key projects of Ministry of Education, 2 are key projects of Social Sciences Foundation, 18 areprojects of key basesfor humanities and social sciences of Ministry of Education. 21 of them have won prizes above the provincial level.
